Summary:
Things to remember when upgrading VMWare Fusion
I upgraded my VMWare to Fusion 2.0.2. The installation is trivial, but restarting Vista after a fusion upgrade is never quite that easy! I had changed the other VM from NAT to Bridged, and needed to do that for Vista as well.
I also needed to tell Vista to not take over the USB connections. Before booting Vista, go into Settings for the Vista partition, and uncheck “Automatically connect USB devices.”
The first Vista boot is a blue screen. That’s fairly normal for me. Reboot, choose Start Windows normally.
